Iteration Plan

Iteration plan template featuring Agile software integrations

About the Iteration Plan Template

The Iteration Plan Template is created for Agile Teams to use to determine which items in their backlog can be worked on in each upcoming iteration. An “iteration” is a set amount of time in which work takes place — the length of an iteration can vary, but usually lasts between one and four weeks.

If you are using the Stormboard for Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, or another similar bi-directional integration, the first section of this template is where you can sync your backlog.

Each Iteration section is pre-set with a Story Point Capacity that can be adjusted in the section menu. If you go over your Story Point Capacity during your planning, the section will turn red.
